Buriti oil (Mauritia Flexuosa Fruit Oil) is known to be the richest source of natural beta-carotene (Vitamin A) and offers some kind of protection against free radical damage that can be caused by sun exposure. Whilst Buriti Oil is high in antioxidants and help prevent UVA damage it is important to note that it won’t be a safeguard for the skin against skin-burning UVB rays.
